Stop Bullying Aremu Afolayan, He’s No Longer Supporting Tinubu – Lege Miami Begs Nigerians
Nollywood actor Lege Miami has come forward to defend Aremu Afolayan after the latter faced backlash for his recent political comments.
Gkingmusik reports that in a video shared on his social media page, Lege Miami confirmed that Afolayan is no longer part of EKO57, the support group for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The matchmaker urged the public to stop targeting Afolayan and called for any criticism or attacks to be directed at him or members of his group instead.
He said: “Aremu Afolayan is no more a member of Eko 57. Please, guys, stop bullying him. If you want to bully anybody, come and bully us. Come and bully me. Or bully my members. So you understand. Just leave him alone. Please. Anyway, thank you very much. God bless you.”
Lege Miami’s intervention comes following Aremu Afolayan’s apology and withdrawal from political activities.
Afolayan said the criticism directed at him had become overwhelming and also denied claims that he received money from any individual or group.
The actor also tried to clear the air on his comments about insecurity in the country. He explained that he did not deny the existence of security challenges but was misunderstood.
According to him, the issue is real, and he even referred to a personal experience involving someone close to him who was kidnapped, with ransom paid for release.
