Cristiano Ronaldo delivered another unforgettable moment on Sunday night as he scored a stoppage-time bicycle kick to wrap up Al Nassr’s 4–1 victory over Al Khaleej in their Saudi Pro League encounter at Al-Awwal Park, Riyadh.
The 40-year-old forward, who had earlier been denied multiple times by goalkeeper Moris, finally struck in trademark style in the 90+6 minute, converting an acrobatic effort off a floated cross from Boushal.
The goalhis 954th career strike—also took his tally to 10 goals in nine league appearances this season.
Al Nassr dominated from the onset with Joao Felix dictating play. After two early goals were ruled out, the Portuguese attacker eventually broke the deadlock in the 39th minute, sweeping a low finish into the bottom right corner.
Three minutes later, Felix pressed high to win back possession and set up Wesley, who curled a superb effort into the top corner to send the hosts into the break with a 2–0 lead.
Al Khaleej Respond Early in Second Half
The visitors came out stronger after the restart and reduced the deficit in the 47th minute when Hawsawi blasted a powerful strike into the top corner, briefly shifting momentum.
Mané Restores Control for Al Nassr
Al Nassr regained dominance as the half progressed. In the 77th minute, Sadio Mané reacted fastest to a loose ball and curled home a composed first-time finish to restore the two-goal cushion.
Al Khaleej’s hopes evaporated moments later when Kourbeli received a straight red card for a reckless stamp on Al Hassan in the 90th minute.
Ronaldo’s Late Magic Caps Ninth Straight Win
With the visitors down to ten men, Al Nassr piled on pressure. Ronaldo, who had seen a goal chalked off for offside earlier, finally got his moment of brilliance in stoppage time.
