Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, and Sir Emeka Offor, on Wednesday, visited President Bola Tinubu.
According to a State House press release by presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu played host to the two leaders in Abuja.
Gkingmusik reports that Offor is a prominent Nigerian oil magnate, philanthropist and entrepreneur.
In other news, Nigerian socialite, Okechukwu Pascal, better known as Chiefpriest, has launched an attack against the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Isaac, over his remarks about Igbos aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s government.
Naija News reports that Fayose, in a video shared on Instagram page, claimed that Igbos have neglected the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, in the Sokoto prison.
According to him, Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, who was charged with trafficking and possession of unlicensed arms and ammunition in Nigeria, has been cleared of all charges and has returned to the country.
In response, Chiefpriest in a post on his Instagram page defended his stance, arguing that aligning with power is a strategic move for business growth, not weakness.
The socialite maintained that he cannot negotiate Nnamdi Kanu’s release and urged Fayose to name the Yoruba businessmen who aided the release of Sunday Igboho.
