Breaking: Edo Council Chairman Impeached

The Council Chairman of Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, in Edo State, Honourable Bliss Alabi Oshionogue, has been impeached.

Gkingmusik learnt that members of the legislative Arm impeached Oshionogue on Thursday.

According to TVC, seven Councillors signed Oshionogue’s impeachment letter.

The council chairman was impeached a few hours after lawmakers in the Edo State House of Assembly failed to hold a peace meeting with him and seven aggrieved Councillors.
