Salaam Joshua Jesugbogo, popularly known as King of Prank, was born on April 24, 2001. He was born and raised in Oyo-Ile, Oyo State, where he attended Olivet Baptist High School. King of Prank began his content creation journey in 2016. While his twin brother furthered his education, he continued to chase his dream of becoming a creator.
His first breakthrough came in 2019 after posting a video that gained public attention, earning over 1,000 likes. during the time his stage name was kenny jhay, Motivated by the support, he kept working hard and later gained admission into Ekiti State University, in affiliation with Emmanuel College of Education. There, he met many friends who supported his craft by reposting and promoting his videos.
Along the line, he ventured into a 2-in-1 business known as FHG or Fiverr. During this period, his family turned their backs on him, but he remained determined. One day, he met a boy selling ewedu, and their interaction caught his attention. He recorded and posted the video, which went viral and brought him more fame. However, due to the parent having issues with him, he decided to stop working with the boy.
In 2023, he continued pushing forward with prank videos, and his prank is very expensive and realistic and thats how he chnaged his stage name to king of prank and one of his video skyrocketed his popularity in 2023. Since then, King of Prank has become loved by many and has remained a trending figure on TikTok to date.
Throughout his journey, he has met several people who have contributed to his growth. He created content with Sanku (of blessed memory) and often talks about Arley Crown, noting that they both started content creation together.
