Mehdi Hasan Roasts Daniel Bwala – Atiku’s Aide

The media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe, has likened Arise Television anchor, Rufai Oseni, to Al Jazeera journalist, Mehdi Hasan.
Gkingmusik reports that Ibe made the remark while reacting to the recent interview between Hasan and Daniel Bwala on the Head to Head programme aired on Al Jazeera.
During the programme, Hasan asked Bwala several critical questions about the administration of Bola Tinubu, including issues relating to governance and corruption.
The discussion reportedly became heated as the presidential aide attempted to respond to the questions.
Bwala also denied several critical remarks he had previously made about President Tinubu before his appointment into the current administration.
The interview has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with some Nigerians criticising Bwala’s performance during the programme.
Many users claimed the exchange portrayed the presidential aide in a negative light.
Reacting to the development, Ibe said Hasan’s questioning of Bwala highlighted the role played by Arise TV host Rufai Oseni in interrogating public officials.
In a post shared on 𝕏, he wrote, “Love Rufai Oseni @ruffydfire, or hate him, Mehdi Hasan’s roasting of Daniel Bwala has given us a better perspective of Rufy as a broadcaster who got the memo to unearth these fraudsters and dogs who are not ashamed to eat their vomits. Every TV network needs a Rufai Oseni.”
