
The family and friends of the late gospel singer, Bunmi Akinnaanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi, have released the schedule for her final burial rites.
Gkingmusik recalls that Omije Ojumi died on January 12 following a prolonged battle with a serious leg ailment.
The singer’s demise comes just months after she publicly appealed for prayers and healing while struggling with a health condition.
Gospel singer, Alayo Melody, announced Omije Ojumi’s burial arrangements in a post via Instagram on Saturday.
The ceremonies will commence on Tuesday, January 20, with a service of songs at the LTV 8 ground in Ikeja, Lagos

Meanwhile, a close friend and colleague, Lanre Alewilese, has shared what the singer went through before she passed on.
In a viral video, he explained that in the weeks before her death, Omije Ojumi could neither open her eyes nor speak, showing how serious her condition had become.
According to him, watching her suffer was deeply painful.
Alewilese said he chose not to make her health issues public while she was alive.
He explained that there was no good news to share at the time and that informing the public would only have caused fear and worry without offering any hope.
He added that her struggle was difficult to witness, and keeping it private was his way of protecting both her dignity and her fans.
