The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a change to the matchday 18 fixture involving Nasarawa United and Barau FC.
The Nasarawa United Versus Barau FC encounter, originally scheduled for Sunday, 21 December, has been moved to Tuesday, 23 December 2025. The match will still be played at the Lafia City Stadium at 4 p.m.
It will be the first time Nasarawa United and Barau FC meet in the NPFL. The Solid Miners head into the fixture on the back of an encouraging run and remain unbeaten in their last two league outings.
They currently sit second on the NPFL table with 31 points, strengthening their push near the summit.
Barau FC, on the other hand, face a stern challenge as they continue its battle to climb out of trouble. The Kano-based side is currently in the relegation zone with 19 points and will be hoping the rescheduled date brings a change in fortune.
Elsewhere on matchday 18, Enyimba head coach Lawrence Ukaegbu has hinted at a tactical adjustment ahead of his side’s clash with El-Kanemi Warriors.
The nine-time NPFL champions, Enyimba, will take on El-Kanemi Warriors at the El-Kanemi Sports Centre this weekend, with Ukaegbu stressing the need for flexibility.
“We are going to El Kanemi, we know how they play. We are not going to use the same formation, we’ll change our formation, which I will not reveal,” Ukaegbu told Enyimba media.
Enyimba have picked up two wins from their last three matches and currently occupy eighth place on the NPFL standings with 23 points.
