APC Will Regain Power In Osun By 2026 – Oyintiloye

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed confidence that the party will return to power in the 2026 governorship election.

Speaking with journalists on Sunday in Osogbo, Oyintiloye said that former Governor Bisi Akande and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, would work with party stakeholders to ensure that the best candidate emerges from the growing pool of aspirants.

Oyintiloye noted that the number of aspirants within the APC in Osun has continued to rise, but assured party members that the leadership would carefully guide the process.

“All our aspirants are capable, and whoever emerges as the party’s candidate will win the election with a wide margin. But we all need to cooperate and remain united for the task ahead to be accomplished without stress,” he said.

Oyintiloye appealed to all aspirants to rally behind whoever emerges as the flagbearer, stressing that the next election is crucial for the party.

The APC chieftain praised the roles of Akande and Oyetola in keeping the party united despite internal challenges.

He also commended their efforts in attracting influential members from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC, saying it was a sign of renewed strength and wider acceptance.

Oyintiloye said Osun people were already yearning for a change of government and eager for the APC to return to power in 2026.

According to him, the collective efforts of party leaders and members will ensure the APC reclaims the governorship seat with a convincing margin.
