Gkingmusik reports that the ruling party disclosed this on Tuesday in a statement posted on its verified 𝕏 handle, announcing the sale of expression of interest forms for various party positions across the country.

According to the party, the expression of interest form for all national party positions is pegged at ₦100,000, while aspirants seeking the positions of National Chairman and Deputy National Chairmen and National Secretaries are required to pay ₦10m and ₦7.5 million respectively.

The party stated that female aspirants, youths and persons with disabilities are expected to pay the full cost of the expression of interest form but only 50 per cent of the prescribed nomination fees for each position.

The APC further explained that for positions in the National Working Committee, the existing zoning of offices among states across the geopolitical zones would remain in force.

It added that state and senatorial executives’ congresses would hold concurrently with the state congresses.

Four States, FCT Excluded From Congresses

The statement noted that Ekiti, Osun, Rivers and the Federal Capital Territory would be excluded from the ward, local government and state congresses.

However, the affected states and the FCT will still participate in the election of three delegates each to the party’s national convention.

“They will, however, participate in the election of three delegates to the national convention,” the party stated.

The APC said the sale and completion of the forms would be done electronically.

“Filling of the forms shall be done online. Access to both the expression of interest and nomination forms shall be granted upon verification of payments and validation by the National Secretariat,” the statement read.

The party further directed that all payments must be made in full directly into the designated bank accounts of the All Progressives Congress.
